Pointerpro takes security very seriously. All servers are protected by state-of-the-art firewalls and anti-viral software. We enforce the use of TLS (HTTPS) encryption for any kind of communication with our servers. Regular penetration tests are performed by specialized independent parties to ensure our systems remain safe from any kind of attack.
Reliable infrastructure
Our servers are hosted at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland (EU/EEA) (more info here) and in Australia for our Australian users, leveraging the world’s largest and most reliable cloud infrastructure provider. All servers are set up redundantly to prevent data loss or service unavailability. Our SLA with AWS ensures that any issue is addressed with the highest priority. Our specialized infrastructure and operations team continuously monitors the environment to maintain the highest standards and ensure smooth operation.

Our team of developers is trained to work from a “security by design” point of view on a daily basis. We use regular threat modeling sessions to make sure we apply all security best practices and look at our application from all angles when making any functional change. We’ve invested in automated software testing to prevent issues on production servers.
Your data is safe
All data is stored encrypted in secured databases and divided logically so only you can see your data. Automatic backups are taken frequently to ensure no data is lost in case of an incident. All employees and contractors working for Pointerpro have signed a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement regarding customer data, should they ever come into contact with it during support or communication in any way. We strictly follow the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which demands the highest level of privacy protection in the world.
